Ryobi Chain Saw
Ryobi 18 Volt Cordless
When the first battery powered, circular saw was
introduced, many people laughed about it. Nevertheless, the saw was not bad at all and the versions that have
followed have been of great quality. Many people have bought them, and now, they feel incapable of doing
their jobs without the Ryobi 18.
This chainsaw was designed to do smaller jobs such
as finishing projects, which are common tasks for the do-it-yourself homeworker. Still, I have never
purchased one of these saws because I never had the need or the desire for one. That was until the battery
powered chainsaw came along.
My first experience using a battery powered
chainsaw was with the Ryobi 18 volt, cordless version. I have to be honest; I was a bit hesitant. However
this chainsaw was excellent. It is not a big noise maker, and it is very safe to use because there is no
whipping of the chain around the bar as you have with the gas driven saw.
Cutting off a few large branches was a breeze.
Remember this saw’s bar is only ten inches, so if you are wanting to cut down large trees this is not the saw
for you. However for small jobs it is not only fast but easy to use. It would be the perfect home accessory
to keep your yard in shape.
If you need an alternative to a gas powered
chainsaw, the Ryobi cordless is definitely worth checking out. After using it, you may be just as pleasantly
surprised as I was.
