The side cover looks newer than the rest of the saw. Maybe a replacement..?

Right on the top….small aluminum plate near the oil fill cap

I’ve got one with a shorter bar, maybe about a 14″ with a solid nose. A guy gave it to me, said he could not get it running. It took 10 minutes and some fresh gas to get it going. Sounds real strong, should be a good saw for years to come for my use. It is a bit of a pain to start though with no throttle lock. Just have to get used to it. I love the simplicity of the whole design.

Where can I get the module?
I’ve got the box style muffler with 12 holes

Is there any porting, boreing, shaving or any machining work that can be done on these, I’ve already got it torn down, alot of the ports are hard to get to

What state are you located in?

  9. radougan120955 says:

A add on module helps, there is a muffler (high performance) that helps. Post a pic of the muffler you have. (I do have the HP muffler)
    Take care
