Electric Chainsaws
The Top Electric
Chainsaws
Many people have bought gas powered chainsaws
because of the freedom and power they offer. The reality of it is that most of us do not need them. They are
high maintenance, tend to be heavy, and are quite expensive, particularly for those who will not be using
them often. This is why many of us do not need that power or the expense that comes with owning a gas
chainsaw. If you only plan on using your saw around the house, you may want to first consider a quality
electric chainsaw.
Pros and cons of electric chainsaws:
·
They have a lighter weight and are
safer
·
They do not require a great deal of maintenance and
are very affordable
·
Ideal for small trees and also for trimming or
pruning
·
Electrics do not have as much power as gas and will
make your sawing time higher
·
They are not made to buck and cut big
trees
·
Electric saws are connected to a power
cord(100ft)
Keep in mind that although you may have less power
in your electric saw, you should still consider it to be dangerous.
